They Showed Up: State 2128 Fights Hard In Losing Effort Against 2162

By Greigh Fox · 2026-02-28

State 2128 lost SVS today. That's the headline. But the story underneath it is worth telling. Players who spent four weeks signing up, showing up, and grinding for prep didn't quit when the battle turned. They fought a strong 2162 and made them earn it. Losing to a worthy opponent after genuine effort is not shameful. What this state showed today matters more than the outcome. 2162 gets the presidency. Most of 2128 gets to know they left nothing on the field. That's not nothing. —Greigh Fox, Fair & Balanced Reporting
